The Worm Factory
Worm composting in the Classroom Educational Program!
Objective: To promote environmental awareness to groups, by introducing an on-going and hands-on friendly food recycling program through vermicomposting. Specific curriculum expectations:
• Learn about earthworms and the important role they play in keeping our soil healthy
• Discover how every person can keep the Earth healthy by green garbage recycling
• Learn how to start and maintain an environmentally friendly worm composter
• Gain valuable experience on how to recycle kitchen scraps and lunch foods by maintaining a worm composterWorm composting
