What makes a good habitat? What does an organism need to survive and how are all the plants and animals related? Take part in food web activities to consider the role of each individual in the web.

Diversity is the Spice of Life
(gr: 6 - all year)

What is biodiversity and why does it matter? Learn how organisms are classified and explore ecological monitoring. What makes a healthy ecosystem?

Georgina Island
(gr: 4 to 10 - spring, fall)

Take a boat to Georgina Island and explore the island’s diverse vegetation and landforms. Transportation to the island must be arranged through a private boat tour operator. Additional costs apply. Park interpreters can present a modified grade-specific program on the island.

Snowshoeing
(gr: 3 to 10 - winter)

Snowshoe hikes can be incorporated into both in-park and in-class programs. Snowshoes are provided.
